Autonomic is a co-op but the Co-op Cloud is currently a budding libre infra project. Our proposal said we'd develop the democratic governance of this project. For that, we need to discuss the organisation form we'll take.

I am taking a look again at this DisCO stuff:

https://elements.disco.coop/

It seems to suggest an "updated version of the co-operative principles". I think it would be nice to have something flexible that could cater for different types of ways people want to interact with the project.

One for down the line but here is a ticket to share some thoughts.

DisCO stands for Distributed Cooperative Organisations. This is an accessible
approach to people working together to create value in ways that are cooperative,
commons-oriented and rooted in feminist economics. These values are nourished
in small, federated communities. DisCOs harness the utility of tech without
being completely tech-centric, emphasizing mutual trust and the need to have
not only reliable but also enjoyable collaborative relationships. Distributed Ledger/
Blockchain technologies are only put to use when these values and their resulting
human relationships have become strongly rooted.

This is still internal to CoTech but useful for Autonomic members to look over https://git.autonomic.zone/autonomic-cooperative/cotech-co-op-handbooks.
