Extend the open n8n upgrade PR: n8nio/n8n 2.34.4 → 2.37.6 (previously 2.34.4 → 2.37.3 on this same PR; 2.37.4 and 2.37.6 are newer than 2.37.3, and 2.37.5 was withdrawn — no such tag on Docker Hub). One evolving upgrade PR per recipe.

Upstream release notes

Delta since this PR's previous head (2.37.3 → 2.37.6), all core bugfixes — no breaking changes:

  • 2.37.4 (2026-08-28): allow a domain-restricted credential to work in its own node.
  • 2.37.6 (2026-08-31): thread the execution id through dynamic-credential storage.

Full-window highlights already flagged when the PR was at 2.37.3 (2.34.4 → 2.37.6): no breaking compose/config changes, no N8N_* env renames, no required DB migration — TypeORM migrations auto-run on boot (verified live). Rolling 2.x upgrade safe. Whole 2.37.x line is still marked Pre-release on GitHub (2.36.9 holds the Stable/Latest badge) — consistent with the established newest-tag precedent for n8n on this repo (2.34.2/2.35.2/2.36.3/2.37.3 were all pre-release when taken).

Operator Action Required

  • The two 2.37.0 API behavior changes only affect HTTP API callers (not recipes): decorator body routes now require Content-Type: application/json, and the binary-data endpoint was adapted. No action for this deploy.
  • Config deprecations observed on boot are pre-existing (recipe-level foresight, not blockers): WEBHOOK_URL to N8N_WEBHOOK_URL, N8N_UNVERIFIED_PACKAGES_ENABLED, N8N_RUNNERS_TASK_TIMEOUT, N8N_COMPRESSION_* — the n8n image continues to accept them.

Version bump (NOT done in this PR)

The coop-cloud.${STACK_NAME}.version label is untouched — this is the operator's final publish step (feature minor):

Tested green on the cc-ci recipe CI server (full suite, cold, against this PR head). NOT merged — for operator review.
