Abolish the Family: A Manifesto for Care and Liberation Order Now.
I’m Sophie Lewis, writer, speaker, teacher, and recovering academic.

I am working on a book about “enemy feminisms”: eugenic, bioconservative, capitalist and imperial feminisms, cis feminisms that rely on narratives of so-called white slavery, femonationalism, and trans-exclusionary feminism.
Right now, my first book: Full Surrogacy Now: Feminism Against Family, published by Verso Books in 2019, is available as an Audiobook, and you can find more about it here.
My short book on family abolition, Abolish the Family: A Manifesto for Care and Liberation, is forthcoming from Verso in 2022.
