Closes #21.

I couldn't find a decent logo without the wording of "freenode".

I have a couple of issues with this...

  1. What is the purpose of it? I don't spend so much time on IRC anymore and I would just be mostly lurking and not reading. I don't know about the others. By putting it on the website, we are kind of declaring it an official place for peopel to go.

  2. It's one more place to check for usand I'm not sure if our potential customers would be likely to go there and most of the techies we interact with wouldn't have much need to chat there. We want to keep our message fatigue down as much as possible.

  3. The logo doesn't fit at all with the other logos with it being text rather than an icon and using different colours.

I probally wouldn't have merged at this point because the pull request was only made a couple of hours ago but happy to hear ideas and thoughts 😃

Ah yeah fair points. Sorry for merging, I just didn't want conflicts. I just want a place where technology focused people can come and chat because I'm going to add some blogposts. So, I suppose I'll just add those in the posts themselves. Noone is obliged to be there and I've got a lax channel topic that says we're not all there. I think it's important to be on IRC because a lot of underground tips/hacks/topics get discussed there and nowhere else... I'll revert this and leave open the ticket.

Delete Branch "add-free-node-logo"
